Sala Imara Hilaire is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, author, consultant, and behavioral health leader with more than 30 years of clinical and management experience. She provides counseling services to individuals, couples, families, transitioning teens, and young adults, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and practical solutions.
Sala specializes in trauma-informed care, grief and loss, addiction recovery, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem concerns, relationship issues, and major life transitions. She has extensive experience working with families in crisis, survivors of emotional and physical abuse, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
In addition to her clinical work, Sala is skilled in program development, workshop design, therapeutic group facilitation, clinical supervision, and organizational consultation. She has developed and facilitated numerous behavioral health, mindfulness, recovery, and wellness programs designed to support healing and personal transformation.
As the author of the workbook Balance, Peace & Joy and co-author of Growing Through Grief: A Journey of Healing, Sala integrates evidence-based practices with mindfulness, self-reflection, and strengths-based approaches that empower individuals to reconnect with their resilience and inner wisdom.
Her mission is to help individuals, families, and communities cultivate greater balance, peace, and joy while creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
